Calpol Sixplus Fastmelts Paracetamol (12 Fastmelts): are strawberry flavoured tablets which relieve pain and lower temperature when there is a fever. They are most suitable for children from 6-12 years of age.
Calpol Fastmelts should be sucked gently until they melt on the tongue. There is no need to take with a glass of water as they quickly melt into a pleasant tasting paste that is easily swallowed. Calpol Fastmelts are used in the treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headache, teething pain and sore throat, and as an antipyretic (e.g. fever associated with colds and flu).
Directions for use:
Tablet should be placed on the tongue where it rapidly disperses to a pleasant tasting paste that can easily be ingested. Alternatively the tablet can be dispersed in a teaspoon of water or milk.
Children 6-9 years: 1 tablets
Children 9-12 years: 2 tablets
Chilren 12-16 years: 2-3 tablets
Adults and children over 16 years: 2-4 tablets
Take up to 4 times a day.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

Cautions when taking Calpol Sixplus Fastmelts Paracetamol’s:
Do not give for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
As with all medicines, if your child is currently taking any other medicines, consult your doctor or pharmacist before giving this product.
If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
