Calpol Infant Suspension Sachets (12 Sachets): are strawberry flavoured oral suspension sachets that will relieve pain (including teething pain in older infants and children) and feverishness. It is suitable for babies and children from 2 months to 6 years. The active ingredient in this medicine is Paracetamol 120mg/5ml.
This calpol comes in convenient sachets, so they can be carried around on the move without worrying about breaking a bottle!
Directions for use:
Age 2-3 months: 2.5ml (small end of spoon). If necessary after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose.
Do not give to babies less than 2 months of age. Do not give more than 2 doses. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. If further doses are needed, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Age 3-6 months: ONE 2.5ml spoonful (small end) up to 4 times a day.
Age 6-24 months: ONE 5ml spoonful (large end) up to 4 times a day.
Age 2-4 years: ONE 5ml spoonful (large end) and ONE 2.5ml spoonful (small end) up to 4 times a day.
Age 4-6 years: TWO 5ml spoonfuls (large end) up to 4 times a day. Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist.
Cautions and Precautions to be aware of before using this product:

Ingredients:
Active ingredient per 5ml is Paracetamol 120mg.
Also contains: Sucrose, Sorbitol (E420) Liquid, Glycerol, Polysorbate 80, Asulfame Potassium, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Ethyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E214), Dispersible Cellulose, Xanthan Gum and Purified Water. The flavouring is strawberry and the colouring is Carmoisine (E122). Each 5ml spoonful contains 2.2g Sucrose.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects of Calpol Infant Suspension Sachets:
It is rare to have side effects with paracetamol but some allergic reactions have been recorded such as skin rashes.
